Last updated: October 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Antreprenor Independent "DAN COTRUTA" (“I,” “me,” or “my”) collects, uses, and handles personal information when you visit dancotruta.com, submit an enquiry, or contact me directly.

1. Who is responsible for your information?

The controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy is:

Antreprenor Independent "DAN COTRUTA"
IDNO: 1026023032964
Balcani 6/2
Chisinau, MD-2071

Email: hi@dancotruta.com

2. Information collected

Information you provide

When you submit the website’s contact form, I collect:

  • Your full name.
  • Your email address.
  • Your company name, if provided.
  • The service or project type you select.
  • Your project description and any other information you include.

If you contact me by email, I also receive your email address and the information contained in your message and any attachments.

Please do not include sensitive personal information or personal information about other people unless it is necessary for your enquiry and you are authorised to provide it.

Technical information

When you visit the website, Webflow and its supporting infrastructure may process technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device information, and request logs. This processing supports website delivery, operation, security, and the prevention of spam or abuse.

3. How your information is used

I use personal information, as relevant, to:

  • Respond to your enquiries.
  • Understand your project requirements.
  • Discuss services and prepare proposals.
  • Communicate with you about a potential or agreed project.
  • Operate and protect the website and contact form.
  • Meet applicable legal obligations and handle legal claims.

Information requested in the contact form is used to assess and respond to your enquiry. If you do not provide the required information, I may be unable to respond or understand what you need. Providing your company name is optional.

4. Legal grounds for processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing is based on:

  • Pre-contractual steps and contractual necessity: to respond to your request about services and provide services you engage me to deliver.
  • Legitimate interests: to manage business correspondence, respond to enquiries made on behalf of organisations, and maintain website security, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Legal obligations: to retain or disclose information where required by law.
  • Consent: where required for a particular processing activity.

Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting me. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

5. Service providers and disclosures

Website hosting and contact forms

This website is hosted on Webflow. Webflow processes contact-form submissions on my behalf and uses supporting service providers to deliver its hosting and form services.

Further information is available in Webflow’s Data Processing Addendum and Privacy FAQs.

Email communications

When you email me, or when an enquiry generates an email notification, the relevant information is processed through the email services used to send, receive, and store those messages.

Legal disclosures

Information may also be disclosed where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

6. Cookies and website analytics

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies can also store or access information in your browser.

Website infrastructure and security features may use cookies or similar technologies where needed to support their operation. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking certain cookies may affect website functionality.

Google Analytics is planned for this website but has not yet been enabled. This policy will be updated when analytics is introduced to explain the information collected, cookies used, retention settings, and available choices.

7. International processing

I operate from the Republic of Moldova. Webflow states that it stores customer and website-visitor data in the United States, and its supporting providers may process information in other locations.

As a result, information submitted through this website may be processed in Moldova, the United States, and other countries where relevant service providers operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws from your country.

Webflow’s Data Processing Addendum describes its contractual data-protection commitments and includes transfer provisions for circumstances covered by those terms. You may contact me for further information about the arrangements relevant to your personal information.

8. How long information is kept

Contact-form submissions and correspondence relating to enquiries are retained for one month from receipt, unless continued retention is necessary for an ongoing project or required by applicable law.

If an enquiry becomes a client engagement, information needed to deliver the services, maintain necessary business records, comply with legal obligations, or handle legal claims may be retained for longer, according to the relevant purpose and applicable requirements.

The one-month enquiry-retention period does not determine how long hosting providers retain operational security logs or backup copies under their own applicable service arrangements.

9. Information security

The website uses HTTPS with an SSL/TLS certificate provided through Webflow to encrypt information transmitted between your browser and the website.

Webflow also documents security measures for its platform, including encryption in transit and at rest. These measures help protect information processed through its hosting and form services.

However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

10. Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to your information, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal information.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion of your information.
  • Request restriction of processing.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Receive your information in a portable format, where applicable.
  • Withdraw consent where processing relies on it.
  • Complain to a competent data-protection authority.

To exercise your rights, email hi@dancotruta.com. I may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity before responding.

These rights are subject to applicable legal conditions and exceptions. Requests will be handled within the time limits required by applicable law.

In Moldova, the supervisory authority is the National Centre for Personal Data Protection.

11. External links

This website includes links to third-party websites, including portfolio projects and professional profiles. This policy does not cover those websites. Please review their privacy policies before providing information to them.

12. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the website, service providers, processing activities, or legal requirements. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
